New Work for the Artists of the Limberlost Studio Tour

My woodturning is inspired by the rugged landscape and the natural beauty of Limberlost. I begin with a raw burl and the complex figuring and colour is revealed as it turns on the lathe. The rough edges, irregular grain pattern and smooth finish of each piece draws you in to explore it further.

I hope you will be able to come to my workshop on the weekend of August 17 and 18 from 10 am to 5 pm to see my newest bowls, platters, charcuterie boards and furniture. The Artists of the Limberlost Studio Tour is a collective of 17 artists in 6 studios along scenic Limberlost Road. We open our doors and welcome visitors to see our art. My guest artists that weekend are jeweller Carol-Anne Michaelson, musician Don Ablett and Watercolours With Wool artist Pam Carnochan. The creative atmosphere of my studio is fun and lively and full of artistic treasures and we would love to see you on the tour.
