A Successful Studio Tour

Thank you to everyone who took part in our 2022 Artists of the Limberlost Studio Tour. It was such a pleasure to welcome visitors to our workshop and be part of the group of artists showing our newest creations. The equipment was put away and my burl bowls, platters and tables were shown in the space where they were created. We saw hundreds of old friends who added to their collection of burl art and many new people who delighted in the beauty of the setting and the art on display.

Our guest artist, Carol-Ann Michaelson presented her handmade precious metal and polymer jewellery, and her colourful, expressive paintings. Pam Carnochan’s Watercolours With Wool showed the creative process from farm to frame to make vibrant wool northern landscapes. Musician, Don Ablett’s songs and intricate guitar playing added music and atmosphere to our studio.

I will be back to turning and open by appointment if you wish to purchase burl art for a wedding, housewarming, retirement or holiday gift. You can contact me and my wife Karen at info@limberlostwoodturning.com and we would be happy to arrange a time for you to see some of my available bowls, platters, charcuterie boards or tables.
