Limberlost Woodturning will be open for the Muskoka Autumn Studio Tour.

The 39th Muskoka Autumn Studio Tour is the last two weekends of September, 23-24 and 30-October 1, 2017. Take the opportunity to go behind the scenes and discover art in the place where it was created. Travel the beautiful roads of Muskoka at the height of the changing colours of autumn and visit the finest professional artists and craftspeople in their creative environment. Studios of woodturning, painting, fibre arts, pencil drawing, pottery, jewellery and garden sculpture will be open and you can see where the inspiration of the past year has taken each artist.

You are invited to come to my workshop on Rebecca Lake just outside Huntsville to see my newest creations of burl bowls, platters and live-edge furniture. My art is displayed amidst the raw wood, my lathe and the tools of my trade. I enjoy when people ask questions and watch as I demonstrate how to turn a burl. The colours, textures and beauty of wood are reflected in the natural surrounding of the forests and back roads of Muskoka and provide inspiration for my art. I hope you can visit my workshop and see my newest work this fall.
